Recycle your products:
The WEEE logo appears on the product to indicate that this product must not be disposed of or dumped with your other household wastes. You are liable to dispose of all your electronic or electrical waste equipment by transporting to an appropriate collection point for recycling of such hazardous waste.

Warranty
Eartec items are warranted against defects in material and/or factory workmanship for a set period from the date of purchase. Standard repairs due to misuse or wear and tear, as well as replacement parts including but not limited to batteries, padding, USB cable, etc. are excluded. Shipping to Eartec is at customer’s expense, Eartec will pay for return ground shipping if the product warranty applies to the repair. Call for details.
Operation
On/Off
- Click the power button on the MAIN headset. Flashing green LED indicates power is ON.
- Press the power button on the REMOTE headset(s).
- The LED on all headsets will flash & then turn solid green indicating headsets have linked.

Note: to turn off, press and hold the power button for 4-5 seconds. When LED blinks red, release.
Set Volume
EVADE feature five volume settings. Click UP or DOWN buttons to adjust. Audible tone indicates low or max volume.
Microphone Placement
Position the microphone one finger-width distance from your mouth. Speak into the front of the microphone, indicated by painted arrow and “Talk”.

AutoMute – Version 1
The microphone mute feature is controlled by the button located on the earcup, labelled MIC. – Pressing the Mic button illuminates the nearby power button to red, indicating the microphone signal is muted. – Pressing the button again reactivates the mic gain and the red LED off.

AutoMute – Version 2
- Boom swivels over the top 270º Mic can be worn on left or right.
- Microphone mutes automatically when boom is set to “UP” position.


Battery
Charging
- Batteries are charged via the multi-charger.
- Insert the batteries making sure the contacts are properly aligned.
- RED: Charging, GREEN: Fully charged.

Installation version 1
- To eject battery from headset, press and slide door down to open battery compartment.
- Insert battery as shown, close battery compartment and latch to secure door.

Installation version 2
- To eject battery from headset, press the release button locatedat the top of the compartment.
- To insert battery into headset, snap into place.

Low Indicator
- A repetitive beep (20 sec. intervals) indicates low power. Battery should be charged or replaced.
Battery Care
- To preserve optimum charge level remove battery from compartment when not in use.
Programming
Clearing the Main Headset
When programming a repaired or replaced EVADE, the MAIN headset needs to be cleared before a Remote can be paired. Follow the steps below to clear the MAIN. All Remote headsets should be OFF before starting this process.
- With all system equipment off, install battery in MAIN headset and press power button to turn on (LED flashes green).
- Quickly press volume down button 3 times, then press and HOLD volume up button. LED will flash green/red. The MAIN is now in program mode.
- Press and hold the volume down button for 5 seconds until red LED flashes quickly. This clears the MAIN headset.
Programming EVADE CMod Remote
- Power on CMod to be programmed; the channel lights behind belt clip will flash green (Remove the belt clip to access the channel buttons).
- Hold channel (1) or (2) button for 5 seconds, the channel light will flash red, then blink green.
- Turn EVADE MAIN and CMod off to finish programming.
- Repeat these steps to program an additional MAIN headset on CMod channel (2).
Programming EVADE Remote Headsets
- Press power button on MAIN to turn on headset, (LED flashes green).
- Quickly press volume down 3 times, then press and HOLD volume up button. LED will flash green/red. The main is now in program mode.
- Power on the Remote EVADE headset(s) to be programmed, (LED flashes green).
- Quickly press volume down 3 times, then press and HOLD volume up button. LED will flash green/red, then quickly flash green. The LED will then turn solid RED. The headset is now programmed.
- Repeat this step for all headsets to be programmed.
Once all remote headsets & CMod have been programmed to channel 1, press the power switch to turn off all headsets and complete the programming process. Repeat steps above for channel 2.
